She’s dressed Sarah Michelle Gellar, David Boreanaz, Chris Hemsworth, Eliza Dushku, and is the woman who put the ”tight” in Nathan Fillion’s “Captain Tightpants”… Whedonopolis 2016 is thrilled to announce the latest addition to the convention’s ever-expanding roster: Costume Designer Shawna Trpcic.
As the woman behind the wardrobe, the creative Shawna Trpcic has shown off her expansive skills in bringing to life such Whedon projects as “Firefly,” “Angel,” “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog,” “Dollhouse,” “The Cabin in the Woods,” and “Much Ado About Nothing.” Trpcic’s résumé also features collaborations with other Whedonverse talent, including her work on “K-Ville,” “Point Pleasant,” “Lust for Love,” “Husbands,” and “Torchwood: Miracle Day.” Look for her work in the upcoming Amazon series “Powers.” More information can be found at her IMDB Page
In addition to a variety of panels, classes and workshops, Whedonopolis attendees will have a chance to dress up for a Cosplay/Costume Contest, attend Meet & Greets, sing their favorite karaoke hits, dance the night away at the "Prom at the Bronze," and even cozy up for a Star Wars pajama marathon.
