One of the most popular Big Bads from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Sunnydale's own Richard Wilkins III is making his way to Los Angeles for Whedonopolis!
Harry Groener, the actor who breathed life into the delightfully devilish Mayor from Buffy's third season will be joining an ever-growing roster of Whedonverse villains making an appearance this May.
Nominated for three Tony awards for his notable work in the theatre, Harry promises to bring an unforgettable presence to the stages of the fan-run convention.
A mainstay in film and television since 1980, he has made appearances in television treasures Matlock, Murphy Brown, Home Improvement, 3rd Rock from the Sun, King of the Hill, The Drew Carey Show, Malcolm in the Middle, The West Wing, Monk, Bones, Breaking Bad, and How I Met Your Mother. Sci-Fi and fantasy fans might recognize Harry from Quantum Leap, Star Trek: Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Enterprise, Roswell, Charmed, Supernatural, and Once Upon A Time. His film credits include roles in Patch Adams, Amistad, Road to Perdition, and About Schmidt.
In addition to his film and television work, Harry also serves (with fellow Whedon alum, Armin Shimerman) on the Board of Directors of the Antaeus Theatre Ensemble (www.antaeus.org), and recently appeared in the role of Serebryakov in their critically acclaimed production of Uncle Vanya.
