First 500 Attendees Get Limited Edition Fanbase Press Lanyards for Whedonopolis 2016

The first Whedonopolis Con is fast approaching and I want to take a moment to introduce one of our sponsors, Fanbase Press

The staff and I are excited to have Fanbase Press join Whedonopolis 2016 for its inaugural event as a sponsor, exhibitor, and panel moderator. They are generously donating lanyards to the first 500 attendees to arrive at the convention, so be sure to arrive early! In addition, stay tuned for the various panels that the Fanbase crew will be moderating.

Fanbase Press (formerly known as Fanboy Comics) is a comic book publisher and online media outlet that has provided an outlet for up-and-coming artists and writers with a desire to create new works and media since 2010. As an online media outlet, the company has supported both seasoned and independent creators and fans through daily reviews, interviews, and podcasts, creating a platform for greater visibility and a welcoming hub for the celebration of all fandoms.

Over the years, Fandom Charities Inc, Whedonopolis and Fanbase Press have worked together to share event coverage, promoting each others events, and simply provide friendship and support in true Browncoat fashion.

Fanboy Comics’ rebranding to Fanbase Press will take effect on Monday, May 2, 2016, and all of Fanboy Comics’ content will move to the new Fanbase Press website, which will be found at www.FanbasePress.com. More information on Fanboy Comics and Fanbase Press may be found at www.fanboycomics.net, as well as on Facebook, Twitter (@FanboyComix), and Instagram (@FanboyComix).
