Comic Book Artist

Georges is the Eisner Award-winning, NY Times-Bestselling artist responsible for taking Buffy's story to new heights such as briefly gaining the ability to fly ("Turbulence") and new lows like a visit to the Deeper Well ("The Core"). From April 2007 to March 2014, he was the artist behind 32 issues of Buffy Season Eight and 18 issues of Buffy Season Nine for Dark Horse Comics. His career has also taken him to Marvel, to DC, and to Image Comics. More recently, Georges stepped back in at Dark Horse to draw two issues of Buffy Season Eleven and all six issues of Serenity: Leaves on the Wind, Firefly's first major foray into post-Serenity story. Georges has a particular talent for visual storytelling that shines in his work on Buffy, contributing as much to the plot with his portrayal of emotion and inclusion of small details as the issue's authors do with their words. To learn more about Georges, check out his Whedonopolis interview from 2013.

Makeup Artist

R.J. McCasland is currently the makeup artist on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He will celebrate his 66th episode of the series when the Season Four finale "World's End" airs this May. Makeup on a show about robots, inhumans, and aliens keeps R.J. busy! Despite this, in addition to three seasons of the show, he was also responsible for the makeup on S.H.I.E.L.D. 2015 mini series "Double Agent' and last year's mini series "Slingshot." Prior to joining Marvel and Whedon's lovable agents, R.J. worked on Hawaii 5-0, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, and 54 episodes of Heroes, even earning himself a Heroes Wiki page.

Find R.J. on IMDb and Instagram.

Visual Effects Supervisor / Visual Effects Artist

In addition to his work as a digital artist on Joss Whedon's Serenity, Geoffrey Mark works as a visual effects supervisor. Over the years, he has brought to life spectacular sights on shows such as Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica, The Vampire Diaries, The Flash, and Eureka. Other projects include supervising visual effects for GunnyTime with R. Lee Ermey, Spider-Man 3, and Marc Zicree's Space Command.

Spike's Stunt Double

Steve Tartalia served as Spike's stunt double on 53 episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and 15 episodes of Angel. Other stunt projects include Alias, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, for which he received a nomination from The Screen Actors Guild for Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture. In recent years, Steve has taken his passion for Indonesian food and started a catering business called LAsian Kitchen. During his time as a vampire, Tartalia brought to life famous Buffy moments such as Spike's musical leap onto the coffin in "Once More With Feeling" and Buffy and Spike's destructive encounter in "Smashed." To read his accounts of these events or just to learn more about Steve, check out his Whedonopolis interview from 2007 or, if you're feeling hungry, read this article about his catering business.
