2021 Badges For Active US Military, Police, EMT, Fire, Nurses, and US Military Veterans

For all current or former military members, and active first responders (police, firefighter, and EMT/paramedic). You must provide proof of eligibility at the convention registration area when you pick up your badge. Click on the blue button and choose the "Military/First Responder Admission.”

*Youth and child attendees must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times. Please note that some of the programming at this convention may include adult content: some on-stage appearances or events may include somewhat off-color humor and/or profanity. Any strict age restrictions on panel or event attendance will be indicated in the program.


All badge sales are subject to GrowTix service fees. 

Badge Purchase FAQ

You must wear and display your badge at all times while onsite at the Hilton LAX during WhedonCon, including hotel common areas. All badges are the property of WhedonCon/Fandom Charities Inc®, and must be relinquished to WhedonCon/FCI upon request.  See Convention Policies for full details.

I live outside the USA. Can I buy a badge through the website?

Yes, the GrowTix purchase web-page works for attendees both inside and outside the USA. If you have any issues or concerns contact us via email to RegistrationDept@WhedonCon.com with the subject line "Badge Purchase" about your issue and we'll contact you. 

Is my badge transferable?

Yes, a badge can be transferred through WhedonCon to another individual for the same year it was originally purchased.  Please send the name of the original purchaser and the name of the person the ticket is being transferred to via email to RegistrationDept@WhedonCon.com with the subject line "Badge Transfer”. You will then be contacted by someone in the registration department.

What is the refund policy?

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds for this event.

Why do you not offer any refunds?

Fan-run conventions like ours budget for our expenses every year based on convention pre-registration; therefore, when you register for the convention, the funds you provide are allocated immediately… for things like guest expenses (air travel & hoteling), publications, technical expenses (lighting and sound) and other stuff that makes our event unique (like signs and decoration). Refunding badges may make us fall short of our expectations and our contracts, causing considerable financial concerns.

A member of our Team Resources department will be in contact with you shortly. If you don't hear from us in one week, please contact us at info@whedoncon.com


What if I lose my badge?

Unfortunately, we are not able to replace lost badges for this event. If you lose your badge at the convention, you will be asked to buy a replacement badge. If your lost badge is found, we can then issue a refund for the replacement badge.
